Designing a tube map fit for 2018

Here is my plan for a new tube map for the year 2018 when the new cross rail line comes into service.

I believe Becks original design was a brilliant classic and a truly iconic design. However I think
it has been let down by poor design choices over the years, and it fails to maintain the same
simplicity and readability when it was first created. The current map is cluttered an unclear and
the addition of the London overground ruins the map for me. I also believe the disabled access
labels draw attention to stations, making them feel more important than others. This is what
drove me to create a new map, how I see it should be

I shall right some more about my design choices when I have a little more time.
In the mean time I invite you to critique my design below as I would like to improve it further!

Thanks,
Adam Evans
